I picked 10 of my favorite fitness blogs that are providing great content, useful and positive posts that reflect MyFitnessGalaxy’s mission of living a healthy lifestyle. These 10 sites aren’t the only blogs you should read, but they’re a good place to start. I’ll update the list more regularly.

#1 Breaking Muscle: No matter your workout of choice, it’s likely that Breaking Muscle has covered it. There are about 20 workout programs from Beginner Workouts to Strength & Conditioning Workouts. You’ll learn how to execute certain lifts and master skills. In short, Breaking Muscle is team of experienced professionals dedicated to providing comprehensive strength and conditioning, and mind/body wellness programs.
#2 Body Building: Large selection of bodybuilding articles, exercises, workouts, supplements, & community to help you reach your fitness goals!
#3 BuzzFeed-Health: I’m obsessed with the site’s numbered lists (like The Only 12 Exercises You Need To Get In Shape or 9 Running Workouts You Can Do In 30 Minutes Or Less) and it is fun to read.
#4 Greatist-Fitness: No matter what health means to you, Greatist’s fitness has information of interest. Contents range from tips on how to prevent blisters from your running shoes to the best pre- and post-workout snacks.
#5 Mind Body Green-Fitness: The fitness section includes articles to motivate you and get more from your workout. There is also some great guidance on how mind and body work together to allow you to succeed in your fitness goals. The range of topics extends from how to cope with back pain and how to get more from your core workouts, to how exercise improves brain function in later life.
#6 Mark’s Daily Apple: Mark Sisson’s daily musings on health, nutrition, fitness, the health industry and the low-carb, paleo, Primal lifestyle. Mark’s Daily Apple is an awesome nutrition blog that focuses mainly on living a life like our ancestors did. This means eat real food, lift heavy things, run, play and get lots of sleep.
#7 CrossFit: CrossFit has a daily workout, along with comments posted by cross fitters from all over the nation. Everything about CrossFit workout is here!
#8 Men’s Health-Fitness: Men’s Health has the fitness tips, workout plans, exercises, and muscle building techniques you need to get the body you want.
#9 Eric Cressey Fitness: Eric Cressey is kind of like the wonder kid in the fitness world. At only 26 years old, he already has a book out and is one of the most respected trainers in the world. His work with elite baseball players and rehab athletes is nothing short of remarkable.
#10 Roman Fitness Systems: Founded by NYT bestselling author John Romaniello, this blog fills your daily quota of fitness info and detailed training advice. You can make this a daily stop.
