Powertec Fitness Workbench Review

Pros & Cons:
Allows 3 persons to exercise at a time; Inner lat pull handles allows for additional exercises; Chrome finished weight horns; Over 12 single station machines

One of the best leverage gyms currently available in the market is the Powertec Fitness Workbench. It is designed in such a unique manner that it allows for 3 people to work out in 3 separate stations at the same time. This gym can be used in a wide variety of environments ranging from homes to light commercial applications. This multiple station gym is quite compact and strong for most applications.

This work bench has additional inner lat pull handles that allows one to perform additional exercises. It has over 12 single station machines where each station is pre-set to offer its own individual exercises. Users can easily move from one station to the other by making minimal adjustments. The shoulder press’s position has been changed slightly compared to previous models. It also comes with options to add other accessories such as pec flyes, leg press, and machine dips.

The multi-press station that is used for chest and shoulder exercises has a maximum resistance of 500lbs, while the squat station that is used for quads and calve exercises has a maximum resistance of 600 lbs. The lat/triceps station for back and arms exercises have a maximum resistance of 400 lb while the leg extension and the ab crunch stations have 200lb and 150 lb capacities respectively. The Lever arms drive all the exercises. The weight plates are usually loaded directly onto the lever hence providing the necessary resistance of free weight while making the machine safe and easy to control.

Another unique aspect of this Workbench is that it has no pulleys or cables. It uses bearing driven lever arms allowing for smooth and silent operation. All said and done, the Powertec Multisystem is state-of-the-art equipment that is safe and convenient for home use. It does not take up much space and you are sure to enjoy numerous body exercises. One other advantage is that it allows multiple people to operate at the same time.

This gym weighs approximately 475lbs excluding the weight plates. As such, it is important to ensure that the floor of the room you intend to install it in can handle the overall weight comfortably. In order to prevent damaging your floor you should place the machine on top of rubber gym mats. Assembling this gym takes quite a lot of time, approximately 5 to 10 hours. Compared to other gyms in the market, the Powertec multisystem gym is more affordable and convenient.
